Traore had very raw talent but was a headless chicken at Barca , Villa and Boro.
Obviously Wolves through good coaching and the player learning have harnessed that talent and transformed him.
The idea that if he had come to West Ham that that transformation would have happened seems ludicrously far fetched to me.
Do you imagine Moyes and Kevin Nolan would have found the answer?

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Wolves - Official Match Thread
GSB have run West Ham Utd for 10 years and before that ran Birmingham City for 15.
A quarter of a century for absolute no positive achievements on the pitch at either club.
All they have done is sucked 10’s of millions of pounds out of two clubs and made themselves very wealthy.
If they are not driven out by any means necessary we will be joining Birmingham as a mediocre Championship club if not in an even worse state.

Brings me no pleasure to know I was right

GBS are multi-millionaires (particularly Sullivan) who have made fortunes from porn and property but are totally out of their depth at running a premiership football club.

I thought Slav was the answer but that went pear shaped, in Pellegrini's first season we looked good and that went fucking pear shaped as well, now were stuck with that clown Moyes who is worse than Roeder and Grant which takes some fucking doing!

You know it’s bad when you’re nicking Johnson’s material.

Moyes was cheap. That’s the crux of it.

Moyes is a fucking train wreck and will take us down this season, not his fault as such but he isn’t good enough and let’s not forget when we are relegated we will also lose Declan.

Hate this club right now!

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Wolves - Official Match Thread
Jasnik, I think they could fit together, but they are definitely not. It does look like they don’t know what they should do to win games.
The really fight starts after Spurs and Chelsea, then we have to get some points or we go down.

I think Antonio is our Traore and I’m not sure we get the best out of Antonio. How many different positions have we played him in over the years. It’s quite astonishing and he is still one of our better players!

Jasnik 4:20 Sun Jun 21
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Wolves - Official Match Thread
Our issues are bigger than just not signing Traore. .

We have a set of players who don't fit together as a team.

Jasnik 4:16 Sun Jun 21
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Wolves - Official Match Thread
My issue is that moyes thought that was a good performance when it clearly wasn't we will be relegated if we carry on playing like that. We play exactly the same way as Bournemouth players who look like the are just going through the motions. Did we actually try to tackle anyone.

The main reason behind Wolves success is their ‘super agent’ Jorge Mendes. Although NES is clearly a very good manager.

Can't remember who FC just the arguments. Also said we should have signed Dendonker. as well as Traore.

Wolves are everything we're not and should be!
If those cunts who own us had any humility, self awareness and respect for WHU they would put the club up for sale today!

Wolves held a mirror up to them, again yesterday!.
Well run club, people who know what they're doing and are genuinely ambitious.

FUCK OFF GSB!

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Wolves - Official Match Thread
It’s a horrible truth but probably fair to say that had we signed Traore we wouldn’t have got the best out of him. He would have signed for us, seen the extreme lack of expectation, and coasted through his contract like most others.

El Scorchio 3:36 Sun Jun 21
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Wolves - Official Match Thread
Say what you like about Traore, but yesterday he was a total game changer. It was looking Probably like a 0-0 when he came on.

He’s not just a sprinter in a football team. He’s got good skill, scared our defenders and put in a couple of absolutely wonderful crosses in the first few minutes after he came on. The second of which led to their first goal. He put it on a plate for the striker. Our terrible marking is by the by.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Wolves - Official Match Thread
Annoying as it is wolves are a much better side than we are. They even got a bit of a advantage from being able to have a break as opposed to the buildup of games they were getting from the European games.

We were shit though. Pisses me off even more as I like watching football in general and now I’m too annoyed to enjoy it much.
